Knock three times is a tale about two kids, Molly and Jack, accidentally break into a fantasy world with magic (possible world), experinced an unforgettable adventure and trying to help the president solve the problem caused by a Pumpkin.Yes, a Pumpkin. But it is not just a dull pumpkin, it's evil, cruel, and vicious, it is so horrible that the origin worlds people had banished it to Jack and Molly's world. But now it came back, and trying to take over this place again.

Reading these tales, no matter it's for children or adult always make me feel excited,for the fantasy plots and twists. Well, tales usually have something in common like a good ending and barely have people dies, but I like the way author emphasize the horror of the pumpkin and the breathtaking plots of how they try survive when encountering the pumpkin.The pumpkin doesn't appear at last chapter but showed up already. I especially fond of this page, it doesn't really appear, but it had become a frightening symbol for Molly who had just came to this fantasy world.

I'm pretty sure that the books is for those adults who loves fantasy and tales,for the words it use, may be a little bit hard to recognize for children.Tufty,dias,beacon,enthusiasm, at least they're not that easy for me.It reminds me of Alice In Wonderland, they both have main character break into a fantasy world and helping people solve their problems. The book was published in 1917, and I considered it as a good book not only for it's fantastic chapter, plots, sentences and words, but also people still remember it 100 years later.
