Hello everyone, my name is Fannie. I took similar courses during the first and second semester of my freshman year, which also included reading and writing and building students' ability to think independently. My usual interests are studying Chinese medicine and analyzing market trends, because I feel that I have to take good care of my body so that I can have the energy to do other things. I think health is the most important thing. The market is constantly changing, and every period has its own trends. From the previous financial crisis to the current e-commerce, they are all closely related to our daily lives. However, I am also observing the next trends .
I think this course can help our students develop the ability to think critically, and no longer limit themselves to specific ways of thinking and logic. I think the ability to think independently can be taken with them, and they can cope with whatever happens in the future.
Hi Fannie!
ReplyDeleteWhat part of Chinese medicine interests you the most?
I really like acupuncture and I visit regularly a doctor for it. Nowadays, traditional western medicine are incorporating practices like message, acupuncture, even tai-chi as a holistic way of keep our bodies healthy. As you mention, trends change constantly, but that it what I have observed so far.
May I ask how do you normally inform yourself about the market? I feel like people don't talk much about this, and therefore, some information is not that easy to reach.
