Dear all,
I should have explained how I commented. As you must have seen, I mostly put my comments in the margins. But sometimes, I highlight some parts in RED to notify you that there is a mistake that you should know how to fix (e.g., silly mistakes, and you should think for yourself how to fix them). Second, I may insert my words to replace yours in BLUE when I suggest more strongly what words to use.
One more note: My assistant sent you the wrong scores for your vocabulary results. She is resending them now. As I explained in class, an average college student's vocabulary level should be about 5000. The total number of the correct items you checked doesn't mean anything. For each level test (10 items representing that 1000-word level), you must get 8 items right to claim that you have reached that level. Got that? I can explain that once again next week.
